Eva Galzerano – Psychologist and Psychotherapist CBT in italian and in english

Specialised in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

I began my professional journey as a Work and Organizational Psychologist, gaining over ten years of experience in Human Resources, specifically in recruitment.

I graduated in 2001 from the University of Padua with a degree in Psychology, specialising in Work and Organizational Psychology. I worked in Human Resources for over 12 years, developing strong expertise in this area.

I have been registered with the Albo degli Psicologi del Lazio (Order of Psychologists of Lazio) since 2004. Over time, I shifted my focus to psychotherapy, beginning private practice as a counsellor and psychotherapist.
Working with individuals in a private setting is something I truly value — I love listening and helping people explore new pathways toward greater personal wellbeing. This is possible. There are always solutions, and it is through the therapeutic alliance that these solutions become real and tangible. Over the years, I’ve increasingly dedicated myself to individual therapy, discovering a deeper sense of gratitude and trust in the therapeutic process.

My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which I may integrate with music therapy when appropriate, as supported by my training.

My qualifications were recognised by NARIC UK in 2014 and by the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council), where I have been a registered practitioner since 2018. I remain an active member of the Ordine degli Psicologi del Lazio since 2004.

Who I Work With

My counselling and therapy services are primarily intended for Italians living abroad.
Therapy in one’s native language is not only more practical, but also allows for a deeper emotional connection and a greater sense of comfort — something often forgotten when overwhelmed by distressing thoughts.

Sessions can be held in-person in London or online, wherever you are. Since the Covid pandemic, Zoom has become a valuable tool, offering flexibility, time-saving benefits, and reduced costs — all worth considering. Sessions are ideally held weekly, though frequency can be adjusted based on individual needs and discussed together.
